The Lawrence Brook Watershed Partnership, Inc. is a non-for-profit organization; the geographic area that we protect is located in Middlesex County, New Jersey, USA, about 35 miles south of New York City.
The Partnership was founded in 1997 to provide a unifying environmental force for the central New Jersey towns of North Brunswick, South Brunswick, East Brunswick, the Borough of Milltown, and the City of New Brunswick, all of which have land within the 48-square-mile Lawrence Brook Watershed. Most of our activities are done by volunteers, of all ages, and backgrounds (scientists, teachers, engineers, college students, high school students, retirees, canoeists, bicycle riders, nature lovers, fishermen, parent-and-child teams, and most of all, people who care about their community's natural resources). We are always looking for new volunteers; you are welcome to join us. www.lbwp.org

Milltown Day is the cornerstone activity of the Milltown Revitalization Committee. Taking place on the first Saturday of October, this family fun event promotes community spirit and pride. The event has raised tens of thousands of dollars to offset modest operational costs. A larger percentage of the funds raised support community beautification projects (decorative lighting, benches, planters, holiday decorations, etc.) arranged by The Revitalization Committee of Milltown.
Doriann Kerber is the 2008-2012 Chairperson for Milltown Day being held on Oct 2, 2010.
The Milltown Revitalization Committee promotes community pride by completing beautification projects funded by grants, organizing the annual Milltown Day, and by supporting the efforts of other Borough groups and citizens working to enhance the community. The Committee has members who recognize that even the best community needs constant attention to remain prosperous. It also has volunteer members who assist with special projects and events. http://www.milltownnj.org/community.html
